The city of Plymouth is home to a staggering 28 different public parklands, gardens, wooded areas and green spaces, which between them cover almost 2,400 acres / 970 hectares. With three separate playground areas for children, a long pathway with benches and seating areas, and sports fields, it is easy to see why so many people visit Plymouth's Central Park each year. Other facilities include a bowling green, nature trails, football pitches, an area for skateboarders, a swimming pool, a large sporting and leisure complex, and well-maintained putting greens.

Located in the city's lively Barbican and Hoe area, the Plymouth Hoe is the perfect place to relax, soak up the sunshine and watch the coastal activities in the nearby Plymouth Sound.
